Introduction
A brand-new state-of-the-art veterinary hospital opening in Herriman, Utah is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join its founding clinical team. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to help establish a modern hospital providing both emergency and general practice services in a collaborative, purpose-built environment. Designed with advanced technology and high clinical standards in mind, the hospital will support veterinarians with excellent facilities, strong teamwork, and a culture focused on professional growth. The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 9:00pm and Saturday to Sunday from 7:00am to 7:00pm, with rotating shifts designed to provide emergency coverage while supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Emergency Veterinarian, you’ll manage a varied caseload of urgent and emergency companion animal cases while working closely with the general practice team to ensure seamless continuity of care. You’ll perform emergency consultations, diagnostics, surgery, and medical case management while building strong relationships with clients during challenging situations. The role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys the pace of emergency medicine without overnight shifts, while also having opportunities to utilise advanced diagnostics and collaborate with colleagues across a wide range of medical and surgical cases.

Practice Details
This newly built freestanding hospital has been designed to deliver exceptional emergency and general practice medicine in a modern clinical environment. The facility features advanced equipment including 3D CT imaging, ultrasound, digital radiography, endoscopy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, high-flow oxygen therapy, PRP, ozone therapy, and fully equipped surgical and dental facilities. With purpose-built treatment areas and room to expand services over time, the hospital offers an outstanding environment for veterinarians looking to practise progressive medicine while continuing to develop their clinical interests.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
