Introduction
Our client is a network of community-rooted veterinary hospitals that is hiring for a Traveling Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Traveling DVMs rotate across high-performing hospitals located throughout Florida, ranging from vibrant cities to welcoming small towns. This opportunity offers exposure to a variety of practice styles, client bases, and caseloads while being supported by a connected and collaborative veterinary network. All travel and accommodation expenses are fully covered, allowing veterinarians to focus on delivering exceptional patient care while exploring different locations across the state.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves delivering high-quality veterinary care across multiple hospital locations while working within collaborative clinical teams. Responsibilities include examining animals to assess their health and diagnose conditions, treating and dressing wounds, performing surgery, testing for and vaccinating against diseases, operating medical equipment such as X-ray machines, prescribing medications, and advising pet owners on general care, medical conditions, and treatment plans. The successful candidate will work closely alongside hospital teams to provide compassionate and effective patient care across a varied caseload. Scheduling options include two weeks on and two weeks off, averaging approximately 20 hours per week, or three weeks on and one week off for veterinarians who prefer longer rotations. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian who enjoys adaptability, autonomy, and practicing within a dynamic clinical environment.

Practice Details
Hospital opening hours vary by location. The hospitals are equipped with modern diagnostics and treatment capabilities, providing veterinarians with the tools needed to practice high-quality medicine at every stop. The network prioritizes clinical autonomy with no rigid protocols or unnecessary oversight, allowing veterinarians to make the best decisions for their patients while still benefiting from the support of a collaborative veterinary network.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
