Introduction
Our client is a well-established and trusted veterinary hospital seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. Providing emergency care for small animal and exotic patients, the hospital has built a strong reputation within the community.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Emergency Veterinarian, you will manage a diverse emergency caseload within a busy clinical environment. A variety of shift configurations are available, providing flexibility around scheduling. The hospital welcomes new graduate veterinarians, who will receive genuine mentorship and support as they develop their emergency medicine skills. Experienced clinicians are also welcomed and can expect intellectual challenge and professional respect. The hospital has quality leadership with a genuine focus on mentorship, professional growth, and continued development.

Practice Details
The hospital provides emergency care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Emergency services include treatment and hospitalisation, imaging and ultrasound, end-of-life care, emergency surgery, isolation care, blood and plasma transfusions, acupuncture, and exotic care. The hospital is equipped with digital radiology, an in-house laboratory, ICU, Snyder ICU, an isolation ward, diagnostic ultrasound, and a full surgical suite complete with a Force Triad vessel sealer and electrocautery unit.

Team
The hospital has seven full-time veterinarians and approximately 30 support staff, with a 4:1 technician-to-doctor ratio and very low turnover rates. The team supports one another through complex cases and shares a commitment to doing right by every patient.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
