Our client is a hospital providing 24/7 emergency and specialty veterinary care, seeking an Experienced Emergency Veterinarian to deliver urgent and critical care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Working Hours / Rota
This role offers flexibility for full-time or part-time schedules within a hospital that operates 24/7 emergency care, including nights, weekends, and after-hours coverage.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will diagnose and treat urgent and critical cases including trauma, toxicities, and life-threatening conditions. Responsibilities include performing emergency procedures and surgeries, stabilizing critical patients, developing treatment plans, and interpreting diagnostics such as bloodwork and imaging. The role also involves clear and compassionate client communication, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating closely with veterinary technicians, assistants, and referring veterinarians. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian with a strong interest in emergency and critical care medicine.

This is a multi-specialty and emergency hospital offering 24/7 care for dogs and cats, with a strong focus on advanced medicine and compassionate service. The hospital provides emergency care, specialty services, urgent care, advanced diagnostics, surgery, and hospitalization. The hospital has 7 DVMs and a great tenured support team, including specialists and experienced emergency veterinarians, fostering a highly collaborative and supportive workplace.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
