Our client is a leading emergency and specialty hospital in Concord, NH, seeking a passionate and dedicated Emergency Veterinarian to join their talented team. As a trusted regional provider of advanced veterinary care, the hospital serves Merrimack County and surrounding areas, combining cutting-edge medicine with compassionate service in a collaborative, multi-specialty environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position within a busy emergency and critical care service. The hospital operates seven days a week, providing continuous emergency coverage with flexible scheduling options to support work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will manage urgent and critical cases, perform diagnostics, provide surgical and medical interventions, and oversee ongoing inpatient care. The role involves close collaboration with board-certified specialists in internal medicine, neurology, surgery, and anesthesiology to deliver comprehensive treatment plans. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with opportunities for professional growth and mentorship.

Practice Details
The hospital is a 14,000-square-foot facility equipped with advanced technology, including continuous ECG monitoring, a full in-house laboratory, a critical care ventilator, ultrasound, CT, MRI, full endoscopic capabilities, laparoscopy, digital radiography, and radioactive iodine (I-131) treatment for feline hyperthyroidism. Emergency and critical care services include cardiac output monitoring, telemetry, direct blood pressure monitoring, mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, pulse oximetry, end tidal capnography, and transfusion therapy. The practice fosters a culture of collaboration, respect, and continuous learning, ensuring patients receive the highest quality care.

Team
The hospital has 12 DVMs supported by a skilled and tenured support team. The environment is highly collaborative, with emergency doctors and specialists working seamlessly together to provide exceptional patient outcomes while supporting professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
