Our client is a hospital looking to hire a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join their team. Providing 24/7 emergency and specialty care for cats and dogs, the hospital combines innovative treatment with compassionate guidance, offering an excellent opportunity to work within a progressive, multi-specialty environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of Emergency Veterinarian responsibilities, managing a diverse emergency caseload while working alongside specialists to provide exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating emergency presentations, performing emergency procedures where required, and collaborating closely with the wider clinical team to achieve the best possible patient outcomes. The practice is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian who enjoys working in a fast-paced referral environment. Flexible scheduling is offered, with full-time associates working 39 shifts per quarter to support a healthy work-life balance.

Practice Details
The hospital provides emergency care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with specialty services available Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm. The practice is equipped with, but not limited to, the advanced resources expected of a well-equipped emergency and specialty facility, enabling clinicians to confidently manage a broad range of complex emergency and referral cases. As an AAHA-accredited and VECCS Level II Certified facility, the hospital is committed to delivering exceptional standards of emergency and specialty medicine. Specialty services include Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Radiology, Radioactive Iodine Treatment, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Rehabilitation, Pain Management, and Soft Tissue Surgery. The recent addition of a brand-new second hospital further reflects the practice’s continued growth and creates exciting opportunities for professional development and career progression.

You will be joining a team of 17 DVMs within a supportive, multi-specialty environment, alongside dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
