Job Description

This hospital is specifically seeking an Associate Veterinarian that is interested in treating urgent care and emergency cases. They are proud to be AAHA accredited! They are a full-service small animal hospital that treats dogs, cats, and exotics, including small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and birds. Their doctors have varied interests, which they encourage and support. Their diagnostic equipment includes an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and ultrasound. They have phenomenal, experienced support staff who are crucial to the success of patient and client care. Every doctor is well-supported by 3 technicians and assistants, as well as technicians in surgery and in the lab. 14 of their technicians are CVTs! The clinic provides an excellent environment for veterinarians interested in practicing the highest level of medicine and surgery. Their surgery suite contains CO2 cutting laser and monitoring equipment and there is always a CVT monitoring and managing anesthesia in surgery. They use therapeutic laser on all patients who have had extractions, as well as post-operatively on every spay and neuter. The practice is open Monday – Friday, 7 am to 5:30 pm and Saturdays, 8 am to 1 pm. There are usually 5 doctors working each day, with 4 seeing appointments and 1 doing surgery. They can be flexible with scheduling, but the schedule would ideally be 4 weekdays, with occasional Saturday coverage, which is usually once every few months.
