Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role with flexible scheduling options available, including weekends. The hospital operates 24/7, providing urgent and emergency care services every day of the week.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will be responsible for providing urgent and critical care to patients, managing cases that include trauma, acute illness, and emergency surgical needs. Clinical responsibilities include continuous monitoring, transfusion therapy, oxygen support, pain management, and collaboration with specialists across disciplines. This position is open to both experienced doctors and new graduates, with mentorship opportunities available.

This is a state-of-the-art facility that emphasizes advanced medical capabilities and a supportive, team-oriented culture. The hospital is equipped with CT, ultrasound, digital radiology, endoscopy, and laparoscopy, along with hands-free radiology technology. It is both AAHA accredited and Fear-Free accredited. Services offered include internal medicine, surgery, emergency and critical care, transfusion therapy, ECG monitoring, and advanced oxygen therapy.
Team
The hospital has 17 DVMs, including specialists in Internal Medicine and Surgery, supported by a skilled and compassionate support staff. The environment is collaborative, with a strong emphasis on teaching, mentoring, and continuous professional growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
