Our client is a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join their established clinical team. The hospital provides high-level emergency and critical care services for small animal patients, primarily cats and dogs, and is supported by a strong group of emergency clinicians and specialists. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This is a full-time position that includes a mix of day, night, and weekend shifts to ensure continuous emergency coverage. Scheduling is structured to support consistent patient care while offering clarity and predictability within a rotating emergency rota.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Emergency Veterinarian, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of emergency and critical care cases. Your day-to-day duties will include triage, stabilization, diagnostics, emergency procedures, and collaboration with specialty services when required. You will work closely with a highly trained support team to deliver timely, compassionate, and high-quality care in urgent situations. This role is open to both experienced emergency veterinarians and new graduates who are eager to develop their emergency skill set in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Practice Details
The hospital is a state-of-the-art, 10,000-square-foot facility featuring six exam rooms and two fully equipped surgery suites. Advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities include CT, digital fluoroscopy, rigid and flexible endoscopy, hyperbaric therapy, and a comprehensive rehabilitation department with an underwater treadmill and K-laser. The hospital is AAHA-accredited and offers access to multiple specialty services, including Critical Care, Surgery, Radiology, Internal Medicine, and dedicated rehabilitation support.

Team
You will be joining a team of 11 veterinarians, consisting of a mix of emergency clinicians and specialists, supported by a well-trained and experienced support staff. The hospital culture is collaborative and patient-focused, with a shared commitment to delivering the highest standard of medical care and exceptional client service in a demanding emergency setting.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
