Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join their team, offering either full-time or part-time opportunities working with dogs and cats in a 24/7 emergency and specialty setting.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will provide high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced emergency environment, managing urgent and critical cases including trauma, acute illness, and life-threatening conditions. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments, stabilizing and treating emergency cases, carrying out surgical interventions where required, and utilizing advanced diagnostics to guide clinical decision-making. You will be expected to maintain accurate medical records, communicate effectively with clients during high-stress situations, and collaborate closely with the wider emergency and specialty teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
This is a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital offering continuous care including nights, weekends, and holidays. The hospital is equipped with advanced technology to support high-level emergency and critical care, including a fully equipped surgical suite with electrocautery and ventilator support, digital radiography with STAT off-site board-certified consults, bedside ultrasound, glaucoma tonometry, and comprehensive in-house diagnostics such as bloodwork, urinalysis, clotting times, and electrolyte analysis. Additional capabilities include access to blood products for transfusions, oxygen supplementation, and electronically monitored fluid therapy. Services offered include emergency care, critical care, surgery, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, neurology and neurosurgery, oncology, ophthalmology, dentistry and oral surgery, anesthesia, and urgent care. The hospital operates 24 hours a day.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
