Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. This is an opportunity to work within a multi-specialty, emergency-focused environment delivering high-level care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage a diverse and fast-paced emergency caseload, performing comprehensive patient exams, diagnostics, and medical work-ups while delivering urgent and critical care. Responsibilities include developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining accurate medical records, prescribing medications in line with protocols, and ensuring continuity of care from intake through discharge. You will communicate clearly with clients, provide education, and collaborate closely with specialists, technicians, and the wider clinical team. You will also support hospital operations by participating in rounds, monitoring cases, and contributing to team training and workflow improvements. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian who thrives in an emergency setting.

Practice Details
The hospital operates as a 24/7 emergency and specialty facility, providing continuous care including nights, weekends, and holidays. It is equipped with advanced technology including Snyder Intensive Care Units, a fully equipped in-house laboratory, SurgiVet multi-parameter monitoring systems, high-resolution ultrasound with ER FAST capability, digital radiography, a 1.5 Tesla MRI scanner, a 128-slice CT scanner, and a Varian Linear Accelerator. Additional capabilities include endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and comprehensive hospitalization services. The practice is part of a network of full-service emergency and specialty hospitals, with access to additional specialty support and resources across multiple locations.

Team
The team includes 8 DVMs and a great tenured support team, working in a highly collaborative environment alongside experienced specialists and skilled technicians.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
