Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Emergency Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency and specialty care for cats and dogs and is looking for an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join its high-performing Emergency and Critical Care team. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will provide high-quality emergency medical care for companion animals, managing a diverse caseload of urgent and critical patients. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating emergency cases, collaborating with specialists across multiple disciplines, and delivering exceptional patient and client care. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside the Emergency Medicine and Critical Care team, contributing to the treatment of a high annual emergency caseload while maintaining excellent clinical standards. This opportunity is suited to experienced emergency veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and provides emergency services alongside specialty services in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Anesthesia and Pain Management, Urgent Care, and Surgery. The practice is currently expanding into a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility and is equipped with advanced surgical suites, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, multiple digital X-ray suites, continuous electrocardiogram (EKG) monitoring, in-house laboratory facilities, isolation wards, blood transfusion equipment and blood products, incubators, and thermally regulated oxygen cages. The hospital also supports professional development through a structured Emergency Clinician Mentorship Program.

Team
You will join a collaborative team of 21 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The hospital fosters a culture of teamwork, clinical excellence, and continuous learning, with experienced specialists, emergency clinicians, certified technicians, assistants, and client service representatives working together to deliver exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
