A hospital in South Weymouth, MA, located just 30 minutes south of Boston, is seeking a Associate Veterinarian to join their 24-hour emergency/specialty/general practice. The close relationship between their emergency and specialty departments enables comprehensive care for complex surgical and medical cases around the clock. This hospital features a strong internship program and a dedicated support staff. It is a teaching facility with 9 rotating interns, 2 specialty interns in ZooMED and surgery, and is committed to exceptional service and education. The successful candidate will actively engage in clinical and didactic teaching of students and interns and contribute to continuing education for the local veterinary community. There are also opportunities to participate in clinically relevant research projects. As a referral center, primary care facility, and teaching hospital with 24-hour emergency service, the hospital staffs over 30 veterinarians specializing in internal medicine, surgery, emergency and critical care, neurology, ophthalmology, cardiology, oncology, radiology, dermatology, avian & exotic care, behavior, and rehabilitation/integrative medicine. Passion for teaching is essential.
