Introduction
Our client is a leading multi-doctor 24/7 veterinary hospital based in Biloxi, Mississippi, seeking an Overnight Emergency Veterinarian to join their team. This state-of-the-art hospital is dedicated to delivering exceptional emergency and urgent care, making it an ideal environment for doctors who want to advance their skills in emergency medicine and critical care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This position focuses on overnight emergency shifts, working within a structured and supportive multi-doctor rota.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Overnight Emergency Veterinarian will provide urgent and critical care to a wide range of cases, from minor emergencies to complex conditions requiring advanced intervention. Responsibilities include diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, performing surgical procedures as needed, and collaborating closely with a team of veterinarians and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Strong communication with clients is also a key part of the role. Previous emergency or critical care experience is preferred but not required, making this an excellent opportunity for a doctor eager to grow in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Practice Details
The hospital is fully equipped with in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, ultrasound, a complete in-house pharmacy, continuous critical care monitoring, and a modern surgical suite. Services include urgent and emergency care, diagnostics, surgery, and ongoing patient monitoring. The hospital culture is fast-paced but highly supportive, with a focus on teamwork, professional growth, and maintaining the highest standards of care.

Team
The hospital is staffed by a team of four emergency doctors supported by a highly trained group of veterinary technicians and support staff. The environment is collaborative, progressive, and focused on both patient care and professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
