Introduction
Our client is a multi-specialty and emergency hospital in Atlanta, GA seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital is a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility designed to deliver advanced emergency and specialty veterinary care while supporting doctors with excellent infrastructure, resources, and collaboration.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This is a full-time role with flexible scheduling options. Coverage will include daytime, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts, depending on availability and candidate preference.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will be responsible for managing urgent and critical cases, providing high-quality medical and surgical care, and ensuring continuity of treatment for hospitalized patients. Daily responsibilities include triage, diagnostics, emergency stabilization, surgical procedures, client communication, and collaboration with specialty colleagues. This role is best suited to experienced veterinarians with a strong interest in emergency medicine, though training support is available for motivated candidates.

Practice Details
The hospital will open in November 2025 in a modern 20,000 sq. ft. facility equipped with advanced technology to support multi-specialty and emergency medicine. Services include critical care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, surgery, and radiology. The hospital emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, offering doctors access to resources and the opportunity for ownership within the organization.

Team
The hospital will launch with a team of 12 veterinarians, supported by a brilliant team of management, administrative staff, and experienced technicians. The environment is highly collaborative, with emergency doctors working closely alongside specialists in multiple disciplines.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
