Introduction
Our client is a network of small animal veterinary hospitals seeking an experienced Travelling Veterinarian to support clinical teams across multiple locations. This role is ideal for a confident, adaptable veterinarian who enjoys variety, values flexibility, and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality care while supporting hospitals when additional coverage is needed.

Working Hours / Rota
This position is designed to support veterinary shift coverage needs across the hospital network. Scheduling and rota are flexible and open to discussion, allowing assignments to be planned around availability while meeting the operational needs of the hospitals. The role involves travel between small animal hospitals within the Northeast region, with schedules tailored collaboratively.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As a Travelling Veterinarian, you will provide comprehensive general practice care across multiple hospital locations, stepping in to support teams as needed. Your responsibilities will include conducting wellness and sick patient visits, performing dental procedures and surgeries, and delivering clear, compassionate client communication. The successful candidate will be client-focused, deeply respectful of the human–animal bond, and committed to practicing low-stress handling techniques. This role requires adaptability, enthusiasm for companion animal medicine, and confidence working in varied clinical environments. The position is best suited to an experienced DVM who is comfortable practicing independently while integrating seamlessly into different teams.

Practice Details
All hospitals within the network are well equipped with modern diagnostic tools and clinical equipment, ensuring you have the resources needed to provide excellent patient care at every location. Each hospital offers a full range of general practice services, including wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine, within a collaborative and positive clinical environment.

Team
You will work alongside multiple veterinary teams across the network, collaborating with experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff at each location. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
