This modern, 24/7 hospital is designed to provide exceptional veterinary care across multiple specialties. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with extensive clinical experience who can guide a growing team of emergency and specialty professionals in delivering outstanding patient care and client service.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time leadership position overseeing a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital. The Medical Director will lead a team that provides continuous care throughout the week. The schedule offers flexibility to support a sustainable work-life balance and is designed to accommodate both clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will play a key role in launching and leading the hospital’s medical services. The position involves overseeing the emergency and specialty departments, ensuring the highest standards of medical care, and fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and professional growth. The Medical Director will work closely with the Hospital Director in a shared leadership model to align clinical excellence, operational success, and team engagement. This position is ideal for a board-certified specialist, experienced emergency veterinarian, or clinician with proven leadership experience who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
