Job Description

Introduction
A well-established, five-doctor veterinary hospital in Yuma, Arizona is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its high-performing and collaborative team. This is a fast-paced, medicine-driven environment with a strong emergency caseload, offering an excellent opportunity for veterinarians who enjoy variety, clinical challenge, and working within a supportive, team-oriented culture.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates seven days a week from 7:30am to 5:30pm, with scheduling structured to provide consistent coverage across a busy caseload while supporting a balanced and sustainable rota.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a mix of general practice and emergency care, managing a diverse caseload that includes urgent and critical cases alongside routine medicine, while collaborating closely with the team, building strong client relationships, and delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care.

Practice Details
This is a well-equipped, high-volume hospital offering advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities including CT, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound, and digital radiography, supporting a varied caseload with approximately 70% emergency cases and a strong focus on clinical excellence and continuous development.

Team
You will be joining a team of five veterinarians supported by a highly skilled technician team with an exceptional support staff ratio, creating an efficient, collaborative environment that prioritizes mentorship, teamwork, and high standards of care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
