Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their team, providing care for cats and dogs. The practice is committed to delivering high-quality veterinary medicine while supporting the health and wellbeing of pets and maintaining strong relationships with the local community.

Working Hours / Rota
The practice is open Monday through Saturday and offers a flexible schedule. The role is open to either full-time or part-time candidates.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care to a varied caseload of patients. This includes conducting thorough examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing appropriate treatment plans. Responsibilities include performing routine surgical procedures, delivering preventive care and vaccinations, managing medical cases, prescribing medications, and maintaining accurate medical records in line with regulatory standards. The role also involves communicating clearly and compassionately with clients, collaborating with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient care, and participating in ongoing professional development to maintain clinical excellence. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
This veterinary hospital has been serving Yucaipa and the surrounding regions for over 60 years and takes pride in being an integral part of the community while educating pet owners on animal health and disease. As a full-service hospital, it offers a wide range of comprehensive veterinary services designed to keep pets healthy throughout every stage of life, from wellness exams and vaccinations to dental care and internal medicine. The hospital is equipped with an in-house veterinary diagnostics lab offering advanced diagnostic testing, including digital radiography, ultrasound, bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal exams, ECG/EKG, and digital dental X-rays to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. The practice provides a wide variety of services including internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, and emergency medicine. Additional services include vaccinations and prevention, routine exams, dental care, geriatric care, care for puppies and kittens, ophthalmology, emergency care, and hospice and end-of-life care. Surgical services include soft tissue surgery, spaying and neutering, C-sections, ocular procedures, tibial tuberosity advancement (TTA), orthopedic surgery, and dental surgery.

Team
The team includes two DVMs supported by a dedicated group of veterinary technicians and support staff who work together in a collaborative and supportive environment. The team prioritizes communication, teamwork, and shared commitment to delivering high standards of patient care while maintaining a positive and professional workplace culture.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
