Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join an established small animal practice, providing care to companion animals while working within a collaborative and community-focused environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:15am to 5:30pm, Saturday from 7:15am to 12:00pm, and is closed on Sundays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities include managing a variety of cases, building strong client relationships, and contributing to a collaborative culture. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available.
Practice Details
This is an established small animal hospital with strong community ties and a loyal client base, offering a wide range of services including cardiology, dermatology, dentistry, endocrinology, endoscopy, radiology, tonometry, ultrasonography, preventive care, surgical services including spaying, neutering, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, caesarean sections, nutritional counseling, patient monitoring, microchipping, pain management, and pharmacy services. The hospital is equipped to handle a variety of medical conditions, including emergencies, with in-house diagnostic capabilities allowing for prompt diagnosis and treatment. The culture is supportive and growth-oriented.
Team
The team consists of 5 DVMs supported by 11 Registered Veterinary Technicians, creating a collaborative and well-supported working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
