Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its team. The practice provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for companion animals, with a focus on progressive, individualized medicine and a comfortable environment for patients and their owners. The position is open to veterinarians at all experience levels, including new graduates.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will examine patients, diagnose and treat medical conditions, provide preventative care and vaccinations, prescribe medications, and advise owners on their pets’ ongoing care and treatment. Clinical responsibilities include routine and soft tissue surgery, wound care, dentistry, dental extractions and advanced dental procedures, diagnostic imaging, and management of emergency and routine medical cases. The veterinarian will work collaboratively with the wider clinical team to deliver high-quality patient care. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are welcome, with mentorship and a strong focus on clinical skill development available for those early in their careers.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with Sunday hours from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM for boarding only. The facility is equipped with medical and diagnostic technology including digital radiography, advanced anesthetic and surgical equipment, and patient monitoring technology. Services include wellness examinations, vaccinations, medical care, diagnostics, dentistry, dental radiography, professional dental cleaning and extractions, spaying and neutering, soft tissue surgery, nutrition, microchipping, pharmacy services, end-of-life care, and boarding. The hospital welcomes both routine appointments and emergency treatment cases and emphasizes high-quality, progressive, individualized care.

Team
The hospital has two DVMs supported by an experienced veterinary team. The environment is friendly, collaborative, and team-oriented, with an emphasis on work-life balance, mentorship, continuing education, and professional development. Veterinarians work closely with the support team to provide consistent care while being encouraged to continue developing their individual clinical skills.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
