Our client is an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its team. The hospital provides comprehensive primary and advanced veterinary care for dogs and cats, with opportunities to manage a diverse range of cases using advanced diagnostic and surgical capabilities. The practice offers a collaborative environment with a strong focus on learning, professional development, and high-quality medicine.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care for dogs and cats, including wellness examinations, preventative medicine, vaccinations, dentistry, internal medicine, diagnostics, hospitalization, pain management, and surgery. The role offers exposure to both routine and more complex medical cases, supported by advanced diagnostic capabilities and access to a board-certified internist. Students and new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated, structured mentorship, while experienced veterinarians are also supported in developing their individual clinical interests. The position offers a flexible full-time schedule with a focus on work-life balance.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The AAHA-accredited hospital is equipped with EKG, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, an in-house laboratory, an in-house pharmacy, and a surgical suite, alongside advanced surgical capabilities. Services include adult and senior wellness, preventative medicine, vaccinations, parasite control, dermatology, ophthalmology, dentistry and dental radiography, periodontics, root canals, internal medicine, hospitalization, pain management, geriatric medicine, urology, soft tissue and general surgery, routine procedures, spays and neuters, and euthanasia services. The practice provides opportunities to manage both primary care and more challenging medical cases within a learning-focused environment.

Team
The hospital has four DVMs, including a board-certified internist. The veterinary team works collaboratively, with an emphasis on knowledge sharing, teamwork, mentorship, and supporting individual clinical interests. New graduates receive structured mentorship and guidance to develop their clinical skills and confidence.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
