Job Description
Introduction
A proudly independently owned small animal hospital in Woodinville, Washington is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its established six-doctor team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive, well-supported practice that offers a tailored onboarding experience, allowing both experienced veterinarians and new graduates to develop at their own pace within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 4:00pm, with the role typically structured as a four-day work week designed to support strong work-life balance, with protected time off and no expectations outside of scheduled working days.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care for companion animals including wellness, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry, while working closely with a highly supportive team, managing cases confidently at their own pace, and building strong client relationships within a low-stress, patient-focused clinical environment.
Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited hospital is equipped with recently upgraded technology including a new ultrasound, digital and dental radiography, in-house laboratory, and laser therapies, supporting high-quality medicine alongside Fear Free and cat-friendly handling approaches, with strong technician support ensuring efficient workflows and excellent patient care.
Team
You will join a collaborative team of six veterinarians supported by highly skilled technicians, with at least one dedicated technician per exam plus additional support, creating a well-structured and team-oriented environment that prioritises mentorship, shared learning, and clinical excellence.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
