Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. Caring for dogs and cats, this is a great opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing high-quality medicine in a supportive environment where patient wellbeing is always the priority.
Role Description and Responsibilities
You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the full scope of GP responsibilities, seeing a varied caseload that allows you to build strong relationships with both your patients and their owners. Your day-to-day will include preventative care, routine consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, dentistry, and surgery, giving you plenty of variety while working alongside an experienced team. Specific working hours will be discussed, and the practice welcomes applications from both experienced veterinarians and those looking to continue developing their skills within a collaborative setting.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, and Friday from 9:00am to 7:00pm. They provide the full scope of GP services and are proud to be an AAHA-accredited practice. The hospital is equipped with, but not limited to, digital radiography, ultrasound, an In-House Laboratory, hands-free radiology safety standards, an Isolation Ward, an In-Office Surgical Suite, and an In-House Pharmacy. Patient comfort is a real focus here, with Fear-Free techniques practiced throughout the hospital. This includes a designated feline-only exam room, the use of pre-veterinary pharmaceuticals when appropriate, feline-specific restraint techniques, and a calm, low-stress approach to patient care. The practice also features a separate comfort room, creating a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners.
Team
You’ll be joining a team of well-tenured DVMs, alongside dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who genuinely enjoy working together. The leadership team is supportive and invested in helping their associates succeed, creating an environment where collaboration, open communication, and high-quality patient care come naturally.
