Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This is a small animal general practice offering a diverse caseload and seeking a compassionate veterinarian to join a well-established team delivering high-quality care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the practice closed on Sundays. The position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing a mix of wellness care, sick appointments, and surgical procedures, supporting a varied caseload within a busy general practice. You will work with an average of 15+ appointments per day, delivering diagnostics, treatment, and preventative care while building strong client relationships. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with opportunities to collaborate closely with a skilled support team and visiting specialists.

Practice Details
This is a well-established small animal practice with over 45 years of service to the community and a strong reputation, reflected in 375+ 5-star reviews. The hospital offers a broad range of services including wellness care, vaccinations, diagnostics and imaging, dental care, surgery, parasite prevention, deworming, and microchipping. The practice is equipped with therapeutic laser, an in-house lab, ultrasound, digital radiology, and dental radiology, with additional support from a traveling orthopedic surgeon and ultrasonographer. The culture is highly collaborative, with a strong focus on teamwork and delivering compassionate, dependable care.

Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, with a 2:1 support staff to doctor ratio, creating a collaborative and efficient working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
