Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join a busy small animal practice providing care to dogs and cats. The hospital is seeking a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality medicine within a supportive and collaborative team environment. The position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes a wide range of clinical responsibilities such as wellness exams, preventative care, vaccinations, internal medicine, dentistry, and general surgery. Additional duties include diagnostics, anesthesia, pain management, and managing both routine and more complex medical cases. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available for those early in their career. The role also involves building strong client relationships and collaborating closely with the team to deliver high-quality care.

Practice Details
Our client is a busy, well-equipped small animal hospital with newly refurbished exam rooms and treatment areas. The practice is supported by advanced technology including digital radiology, dental radiography, ultrasound, and an in-house pharmacy, alongside a fully equipped surgical suite. Services offered include advanced and routine dental care, cryosurgery, diagnostics, preventative care, wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite control, microchipping, general surgery, geriatric medicine, pain management, and more. The hospital also maintains relationships with local shelters and K9 units and benefits from access to a nearby 24-hour critical care facility for additional support. The culture emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning, with flexible scheduling and no after-hours emergencies. Hospital opening hours are Monday 7:30 am–5:00 pm, Tuesday to Thursday 8:00 am–7:30 pm, Friday 8:00 am–6:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am–1:00 pm, and Sunday closed.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The environment is collaborative and supportive, with a strong focus on teamwork, mentorship, and professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
