Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their AAHA-accredited small animal practice. This role involves providing high-quality medical care to cats and dogs in a supportive environment that emphasizes mentorship, collaboration, and professional growth. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on Sundays. The position offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time arrangements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care for feline and canine patients, including wellness exams, preventive medicine, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. Clinical services include anesthesia, general surgery, routine surgeries, spays and neuters, dental care and dental radiographs, hospitalization, pain management, stem cell therapy, laser surgery, and alternative medicine modalities such as acupuncture and herbal medicine. The role requires maintaining a current DEA license, completing a minimum of 30 hours of accredited continuing education annually, and staying up to date with advancements in veterinary medicine. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited hospital is equipped with digital radiology, diagnostic imaging, Tonopen, in-house laboratory, and advanced technologies including laser surgery and stem cell therapy. The hospital also offers alternative medicine services such as acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, holistic medicine, and herbal therapy. Services provided include preventive care, adult and senior wellness, vaccinations, parasite control, microchipping, weight management programs, dental care and dental x-rays, internal medicine, anesthesia, hospitalization, pain management, health certificates, and routine surgical procedures. Hands-free radiology is utilized to support safety and efficiency.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
