Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a well‑established, full‑service small animal practice seeking a full-time DVM to join their dedicated team. The clinic provides comprehensive veterinary care, offering services to keep pets healthy, including routine checkups, parasite prevention, dental care, and surgery. The practice is part of a larger network and prides itself on compassion, quality medicine, and an inclusive team culture.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Thursday and Friday from 8 am–6 pm, Saturday from 8 am–4 pm, and closed on Sunday. The ideal schedule for this full-time position would be four weekdays with rotating Saturdays. Specific doctor hours are open to discussion. Weekend coverage and after-hours requirements are flexible based on the candidate and clinic needs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves full general practice responsibilities, encompassing all aspects of small animal care. The position is open to experienced veterinarians only.

Practice Details
The practice offers a range of facilities and services, including free-range kennels, an in-house laboratory and pharmacy, and boarding and daycare services at the on-site kennel. The in-house lab allows for quick diagnostics, enabling timely treatment. The hospital emphasizes “best in practice” veterinary care and maintains a supportive, high-quality clinical environment.

Team
The practice has two DVMs and a skilled support staff. The environment is collaborative and focused on providing excellent veterinary care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
