Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital in Wisconsin Dells, hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join their established small animal practice. The hospital has been a trusted part of the community since the 1960s and offers comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday and Thursday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. It is closed on Sundays. There are flexible scheduling options available, with opportunities for both full-time and part-time roles.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a wide range of clinical services including wellness care, internal medicine, surgery, dental procedures, and emergency care. Responsibilities will also include diagnostics, geriatric care, and services for puppies and kittens. The role is open to veterinarians with at least one year of clinical experience who are confident in their diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills, and committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, digital dental X-rays, and a full in-house laboratory offering bloodwork, urinalysis, and fecal exams. It provides a broad range of services, including preventive care, internal medicine, surgery, dental care, and emergency services. The practice culture is friendly and client-focused, emphasizing clear communication and a calm, supportive environment.

Team
The team includes five DVMs supported by a group of experienced technicians and support staff. The work environment is collaborative, with a strong focus on teamwork and building lasting relationships with clients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
