Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their veterinary team providing care for companion animals. The hospital has served the Winterville community since 2002 and is recognized for delivering high-quality, customized veterinary care. As an AAHA accredited facility, the hospital adheres to rigorous standards across surgery, patient care, emergency services, and clinical protocols. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering a collaborative environment where clinicians can practice high-quality medicine while continuing to develop their skills.

Working Hours / Rota
The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM, with the hospital closed on Sundays. After-hours emergency cases are referred to a nearby specialty hospital, allowing veterinarians to focus on their caseload during business hours.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care including wellness and preventative medicine, diagnostics, advanced medical care, surgery, and urgent care services. Responsibilities include examining patients, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, performing surgical procedures, and communicating clearly with clients about their pet’s health and treatment options. The role also involves building strong client relationships, collaborating with the clinical team, and maintaining the high standards of care expected within an AAHA accredited hospital. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a broad range of services including wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, and urgent care. As an AAHA accredited facility, the hospital regularly undergoes evaluations to ensure standards are met in areas such as anesthesiology, diagnostic imaging, surgery, exam facilities, patient care, and client services. The practice focuses on delivering high-quality veterinary medicine while maintaining a supportive environment that enables veterinarians to practice advanced care.

The hospital has 7 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative environment where veterinarians and staff work together to deliver exceptional care for patients and clients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
