Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative, mixed animal practice. The hospital provides care for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, horses, and occasional large animals such as cows, offering a diverse and engaging caseload. This opportunity is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, making it ideal for both experienced doctors and new graduates seeking mentorship.

Working Hours / Rota
The position offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied caseload including appointments and surgeries during open hours. Responsibilities include delivering relationship-based patient care, collaborating with the clinical team and leadership, building strong connections within the local community, and supporting the growth and development of team members through internal training programs. The role offers exposure to a broad range of medical and surgical cases across multiple species. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This full-service mixed animal hospital is equipped with advanced technology including on-site ultrasound, cold laser therapy, high-definition digital full-body and dental radiology, a dedicated surgery suite, and electronic medical records. Services include emergency pet services, after-hours care, dental care, diagnostics and laboratory services, end-of-life care, microchipping, nutritional counseling, pain management, parasite prevention and control, spay and neuter procedures, surgery and anesthesia, vaccinations, wellness exams, wellness testing, wound care, boarding, and grooming services such as bath and nail trims. The hospital emphasizes compassionate, family-oriented care and a collaborative, growth-focused culture.

The practice has 3 DVMs and a fantastic tenured support team, fostering a supportive and team-oriented environment focused on mentorship and professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
