Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join a well-equipped small animal practice providing care to dogs and cats. The hospital is seeking a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality medicine within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes a broad range of clinical responsibilities such as wellness exams, preventative care, vaccinations, internal medicine, dentistry, and both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. Additional duties include diagnostics, anesthesia, pain management, and managing a variety of medical cases. The position is a full-time role and is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, encouraging collaboration, continuous learning, and strong client relationships.
Practice Details
Our client is an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital offering a wide range of services supported by advanced technology. The practice is equipped with digital radiology, echocardiography, EKG, ultrasound, OFA X-ray capabilities, and a fully equipped surgical suite. Additional services include advanced dental care, animal rehabilitation, bone and joint surgery, dermatology, cold laser therapy, acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, preventative care, wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite control, internal medicine, general surgery, hospice care, pain management, and full diagnostics. The hospital also follows cat-friendly principles to support patient comfort. Hospital opening hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00 am–8:00 pm, Friday to Saturday 8:00 am–4:00 pm, and Sunday closed.
Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The environment is collaborative, supportive, and focused on delivering high-quality patient care through teamwork and shared expertise.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
