Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. With locations in Rensselaer and Winamac, Indiana, the hospital is well-established and known for its compassionate and informative approach to veterinary care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5pm and is closed on weekends. This position can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis, with flexible scheduling available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves delivering high-quality care in general medicine and surgery, covering a broad range of clinical services including wellness, dentistry, surgery, and preventative medicine. The position is open to experienced veterinarians, with mentorship opportunities available for new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with in-house laboratories, full body and dental digital radiography, ultrasound, and surgical facilities. Services offered include wellness care, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, in-house diagnostics, parasite prevention, microchipping, senior pet care, nutritional counseling, emergency services, platelet rich plasma therapy, and cold laser therapy.

Team
The hospital operates as a multi-doctor team across its locations, with a supportive and tight-knit culture that values collaboration and mentorship.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
