Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a clinic seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a companion animal general practice. The hospital provides small animal care with a focus on collaboration, mentorship, and medical autonomy, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. The role offers flexibility for both full-time and part-time schedules.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves delivering care across wellness, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and preventive medicine. Responsibilities include patient examinations, surgical procedures, diagnostics, and client communication, with a strong emphasis on building long-term client relationships. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available.

Practice Details
The practice is a companion animal general practice with a steady, established caseload and long-term clientele. Facilities include digital X-ray, dental radiography, an in-house pharmacy, diagnostics, and a surgical suite. Services offered include wellness care and exams, vaccinations, dental care, diagnostics and imaging, spay and neuter, parasite prevention, dermatology, surgery, nutrition counseling, reproductive services, boarding and daycare, and pharmacy services. The clinic promotes a collaborative, mentorship-focused, and community-driven culture with strong support and medical autonomy.

Team
The team consists of two DVMs supported by a strong technician and assistant team, creating a collaborative, supportive, and mentorship-focused working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
