Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive care for dogs and cats and is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its thriving team. This AAHA-accredited small animal hospital has a long-standing reputation for delivering compassionate, progressive, and individualized veterinary care. Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide high-quality medical care across a wide range of small animal cases. Responsibilities include performing wellness examinations, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, urgent care, and preventive medicine while building strong relationships with clients and patients. You will work alongside a supportive team to deliver individualized treatment plans and exceptional patient outcomes. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited hospital is equipped with four exam rooms and a wide range of modern diagnostic and treatment technologies, including a Butterfly ultrasound for screening and non-diagnostic imaging, digital dental X-ray, digital radiography, an IDEXX in-house laboratory, therapy laser, Doppler blood pressure monitoring, TonoVet intraocular pressure measurement equipment, and two anesthesia machines, including one with full monitoring capabilities. Services offered include dental care, surgical services, specialty services, diagnostics, laboratory services, urgent care, end-of-life care, microchipping, nutrition, pharmacy services, and pet boarding. The hospital has a rich history as the oldest continuously operating small animal veterinary practice in Delaware, tracing its origins back to 1925. The practice is committed to comprehensive and preventative care and provides the tools and support necessary for veterinarians to practice high-quality medicine. Hospital hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
