Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Established in 1959, this well-established hospital provides high-quality care for cats, dogs, and exotics, offering an excellent opportunity to join an experienced team within a respected companion animal practice.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of GP responsibilities, providing high-quality preventative, medical, and surgical care across a diverse caseload. You will be responsible for consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, dentistry, and client education while working collaboratively with the wider veterinary team to deliver exceptional patient care. Specific working hours will be discussed. The practice is seeking an experienced veterinarian, with strong diagnostic experience and good surgical skills considered a plus.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm and Saturdays from 8:00am to 1:00pm. The practice provides the full scope of GP services, allowing clinicians to manage a varied and rewarding caseload across companion animals and exotics. The hospital is equipped with, but not limited to, Digital Radiology, Digital Dental Radiology, and Ultrasound, providing the technology needed to confidently diagnose and treat a wide range of medical and surgical cases. As an AAHA Certified and Cat Friendly Practice, the hospital is committed to maintaining high clinical standards while providing a positive experience for its patients. In addition to comprehensive veterinary care, the practice also offers Acupuncture, further expanding the treatment options available to clients.

You will be joining a team of 3 DVMs, supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. Together, the team works seamlessly to deliver exceptional patient care and client service while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
