Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a practice providing veterinary care for dogs and cats just minutes from Burlington, Vermont. They are seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their established companion animal practice. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and combines 40 years of trusted care with a progressive and supportive clinical environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical and surgical care to companion animals, including wellness care, vaccinations, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery such as spays and neuters. The role involves building long-term relationships with clients and their pets while collaborating with experienced veterinarians and skilled support staff to provide continuity of care. This position is specifically for an experienced veterinarian.
Practice Details
The practice is a full-service companion animal hospital with a loyal client base and capabilities across small animal medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and preventive care. Clinical resources include an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, and dental radiology. The practice places a strong emphasis on collaboration and continuing education. Opening hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Team
The practice has four DVMs and a great tenured support team. The multi-doctor environment is highly collaborative, with veterinarians regularly discussing cases with one another to provide continuity of care and multiple clinical perspectives for patients.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
