Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive small animal care, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Working Hours / Rota
This role offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on weekends, providing a consistent schedule with no weekend or after-hours requirements mentioned.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload including wellness care, sick visits, and surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, dentals, and mass removals. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, performing routine surgeries, utilizing diagnostic tools, and maintaining accurate medical records. The role also involves strong client communication, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with the wider veterinary team to deliver high standards of care. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital is an AAHA-accredited practice, reflecting its commitment to high standards of veterinary care. Facilities include seven exam rooms, two comfort rooms, and a large boarding department, alongside advanced equipment such as digital radiology, echocardiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, and an in-office surgical suite. Services offered include preventive care, wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite control, weight management, anesthesia, dental care, full diagnostics, and general surgery. The practice emphasizes a collaborative culture, modern technology, and fear free approaches to ensure patient and staff comfort.
Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a supportive and team-oriented environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
