Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary practice seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their team. They are looking for a full-time veterinarian but are open to discussing part-time opportunities for the right candidate. The practice provides care for cats and dogs in a supportive clinical environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves providing the full scope of general practice responsibilities, including diagnosing and treating a wide variety of medical and surgical cases. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to deliver high-quality patient care and build lasting relationships with clients. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and no weekend work is required.
Practice Details
The practice is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. It is well equipped to support day-to-day clinical work and provides a full scope of GP services, including wellness care, preventative medicine, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry.
Team
The practice has a 2.5-doctor team and offers a collegial atmosphere where veterinarians work together in a supportive environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
