Our client is a hospital for dogs and cats that is hiring a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing a full scope of general practice services, including wellness and preventative care, medical consultations, surgery, and dentistry. This opportunity offers exposure to a varied small animal caseload within a supportive and collaborative clinical setting. The role would suit both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available to support ongoing clinical development, confidence building, and long-term professional growth. Specific doctor hours are to be discussed, with the added benefit of no weekend responsibilities, supporting a strong work-life balance.

Practice Details
This is an AAHA-accredited, cat friendly practice offering advanced dental care alongside a full scope of GP services. The hospital is well equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical technology, including but not limited to digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, Tonopen technology, and an in-house laboratory, allowing veterinarians to provide comprehensive diagnostics and treatment on-site. Facilities include an in-house pharmacy, outdoor walking areas, and a fully equipped in-office surgical suite designed to support efficient workflow and high quality patient care. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and is closed on weekends, creating a consistent schedule and excellent work-life balance for the team. In addition to veterinary services, the practice also offers pet boarding, grooming, and pet counseling, allowing the hospital to provide a more comprehensive level of care and support for clients and their pets. The hospital also works closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required, ensuring patients have access to additional resources and continued support when needed.

Team
The hospital currently consists of 1 DVM supported by experienced team members within a collaborative and mentorship-focused environment. A high doctor-to-technician ratio allows veterinarians to practice efficiently while remaining fully supported throughout the day by skilled staff members. The practice promotes a culture of teamwork, continued learning, and knowledge sharing, creating an environment where veterinarians can continue developing their clinical skills while building long-term careers within veterinary medicine.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
