Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a small animal practice serving the Wichita, KS community since 1982, with an outstanding 4.9-star Google rating, and is hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The hospital treats cats and dogs and is open to both full-time and part-time applicants.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities alongside in-hour urgent care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering flexibility in doctor hours which are open to discussion.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. It is well equipped with in-house labs, digital x-rays, ultrasound, and cold laser technology. The practice offers a full range of general practice services, including laser therapy and urgent care, supporting a varied caseload within a well-equipped clinical environment.
Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a great team of well-trained support staff, contributing to a collaborative working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
