Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs, cats, and exotics and is seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced veterinarian looking to practice high-quality medicine in a collaborative, full-service hospital with a diverse caseload and a supportive team dedicated to exceptional patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care across a varied caseload that includes companion animals and exotic pets. Responsibilities include wellness and preventative care, internal medicine workups, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, treatment planning, client education, and maintaining accurate medical records. The successful candidate will work closely with an experienced veterinary team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care while fostering a positive, team-oriented culture. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian who enjoys collaboration and building long-term relationships with clients and their pets.

Practice Details
This full-service veterinary hospital serves Whitsett and the surrounding communities from a spacious 5,200-square-foot facility situated on three acres. The practice combines modern veterinary medicine with a welcoming, family-oriented culture and provides care for dogs, cats, exotic pets, and small pocket pets. The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, in-house diagnostics, a surgical suite, dental facilities, an in-house laboratory and pharmacy, rehabilitation services, laser therapy, and acupuncture. Services include wellness care, dental care, diagnostics, pet counselling, surgery, pet rehabilitation, laser therapy, boarding, end-of-life care, behaviour consultations, emergency care, nutrition and weight management, vaccinations, laser surgery, and spays and neuters. The practice is committed to supporting professional development and providing the resources needed to deliver exceptional patient care.

Team
The hospital is home to a collaborative team of four doctors and experienced support staff who work together to deliver outstanding veterinary care. The practice promotes mentorship, career development, and teamwork, creating a supportive environment where veterinarians are encouraged to grow professionally while providing the highest standard of care to patients and clients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
