Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital that has proudly served its community for over 32 years, delivering compassionate, community-centred veterinary care in a close-knit, high-volume environment. They are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis, providing care for cats and dogs.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of general practice responsibilities, providing comprehensive medical care to companion animal patients. This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital offers a full scope of GP services, including wellness care, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry. The practice is equipped with in-house diagnostics, a surgical suite and an evolving equipment base to support high-quality patient care. The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and is closed on Sundays. The team works within a high-volume environment focused on delivering compassionate veterinary care to the local community.
Team
The hospital is staffed by 2 DVMs and is supported by 2 to 3 technicians per veterinarian, providing strong clinical assistance and support throughout the day.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
