Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This opportunity is open on either a full-time or part-time basis and offers the chance to work with cats and dogs in a general practice setting.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of general practice responsibilities, providing high-quality care across a varied caseload. Doctor hours are open to discussion, allowing flexibility to suit individual preferences. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and is well-equipped to support a high standard of patient care. It offers a full scope of general practice services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry. The practice is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with the hospital closed on Sundays.
Team
The hospital is supported by a team of two DVMs alongside a great team of support staff, creating a collaborative working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
