Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital offering a wide range of veterinary services, and they are currently seeking a Lead Veterinarian to join their team. This is a full-time leadership role with a clinical focus.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The ideal schedule for this full-time position includes four weekdays with rotating Saturdays. Specific doctor hours are open to discussion.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves full general practice responsibilities along with the leadership of other DVMs. The Lead Veterinarian will provide clinical care and also guide, support, and develop the veterinary team. This role is open to experienced candidates only.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and equipped with leading-edge technologies in a state-of-the-art facility. Services provided include dental care, emergency services, pain management, surgical services, internal medicine, and wellness care.

Team
The hospital is supported by a large team of DVMs and a tenured support staff.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
