Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their AAHA-certified companion animal practice. Established in the 1950s, this full-service hospital provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care for small animals in a modern, state-of-the-art facility. The role is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, including students and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available.

Working Hours / Rota
The position is offered on a full-time basis with alternating Saturdays, with flexibility for either full-time or part-time consideration. The hospital provides structured scheduling and dedicated patient care appointments supported by credentialed veterinary technicians.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a diverse companion animal caseload including wellness exams, preventive care, diagnostics, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and advanced medical services. Clinical responsibilities include performing routine and advanced surgical procedures, utilizing digital and dental radiography, ultrasound diagnostics, laser therapy, acupuncture, and managing hospitalized patients. The role emphasizes Fear Free principles, high-quality medicine, and collaborative teamwork. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This AAHA-certified hospital is also supported by Fear Free Certified professionals and aligns with feline-focused veterinary standards. The facility features digital radiography, digital dental radiography, a new ultrasound machine, hands-free radiology, cold laser therapy, acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, an in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, surgical suite, isolation ward, and advanced diagnostic capabilities. Services include Advanced Care, Feline Radioactive Thyroid I-131 Treatment, Soft Tissue Surgery, Preventive Medicine, Dentistry, Hospitalization, Pain Management, and Full Diagnostics. The hospital also offers grooming and retail/prescription diet options, maintaining a true full-service model.

The hospital is supported by 5 DVMs and a great tenured support team, maintaining a strong 2:1 support staff-to-doctor ratio and a collaborative environment focused on mentorship and clinical excellence.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
