Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire a full-time Associate Veterinarian. Established in 1959, this well-established hospital has been serving the community for over six decades, providing high-quality care for cats and dogs. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected practice with a long-standing reputation for exceptional veterinary medicine and patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of GP responsibilities, providing high-quality preventative, medical, and surgical care across a varied companion animal caseload. You will be responsible for consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, dentistry, and client education while working collaboratively with the wider veterinary team to deliver outstanding patient care. The schedule includes four weekdays (Monday through Friday) plus a rotating half-day Saturday, with no on-call responsibilities, supporting an excellent work-life balance. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 7:00pm, Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. The practice provides the full scope of GP services alongside Advanced Dental Care, Cryosurgery, and access to a surgery specialist, allowing clinicians to manage a diverse and rewarding caseload. The hospital is equipped with, but not limited to, Digital Radiography, Digital Dental Radiography, Ultrasound, Laser Surgery, In-House Laboratory Diagnostics, Outside Laboratory Services, and a Tonopen. Housed within a state-of-the-art facility that opened in 2017, additional facilities include an In-House Pharmacy, an In-Office Surgical Suite, and an Isolation Ward, providing the resources needed to deliver high-quality patient care. As an AAHA-accredited, Feline Friendly, and Fear Free Certified hospital, the practice is committed to maintaining exceptional clinical standards. In addition to comprehensive veterinary services, the hospital also provides Laser Therapy, Acupuncture, DNA Breed Testing, and Stem Cell Therapy. This role also offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced medical team, including a board-certified Surgeon.

Team
You will be joining a tenured team of 29 associates, including a Medical Director, 3 Associate Veterinarians, a board-certified Surgeon, certified technicians, technician assistants, and experienced client service representatives. Together, the team fosters a collaborative and supportive environment where communication, mentorship, and professional development are highly valued, enabling clinicians to deliver exceptional patient care while continuing to grow in their careers.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
