Our client is a practice seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Caring for dogs and cats, this long-established small animal practice has been serving its community since 1979 and is known for delivering personalised, high-quality veterinary care. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates seeking to develop their careers within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will build lasting relationships with clients and their pets while serving as a trusted partner in their lifelong health. You will lead patient care from diagnosis through treatment, maintaining high clinical standards and delivering compassionate veterinary medicine. Responsibilities include wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, urgent care, endocrinology case management, behaviour consultations, orthopaedic evaluations, pain management, anesthesia, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedic surgery, mass removals, spay and neuter procedures, and dental surgery. You will communicate findings and treatment plans clearly, empowering clients to make informed decisions regarding their pets’ care. The role also involves collaborating closely with the paraprofessional team and contributing to a positive hospital culture. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This full-service small animal practice provides comprehensive veterinary care with a focus on long-term patient wellness and continuity of care. Services include wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, endocrinology, orthopaedics, behaviour therapy, urgent care, pet boarding, pain management, OFA certification, anesthesia, surgical procedures, dental surgery, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedic surgery, spay and neuter procedures, and mass removal procedures. Veterinarians benefit from access to internal specialty consultations, providing support for complex cases and opportunities to expand their clinical expertise. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The practice is committed to maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high-quality medicine within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
