Our client is a modern, well-equipped veterinary hospital located in a quiet area with convenient access to both bustling cities and charming small towns. They are hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their skilled team. The practice is known for delivering high-quality care with a personal touch and is equipped to support both medical excellence and professional growth.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It is closed on Sundays. The schedule includes a balance of weekday and weekend coverage, with no after-hours emergency requirements mentioned.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will handle a caseload that is approximately 70% wellness visits and 30% sick visits. Clinical responsibilities span a wide range of services including advanced dental care, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and preventive care. This role is suited for an experienced veterinarian who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering comprehensive, compassionate care.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with hands-free radiology, a separate dental and surgical suite, and offers additional services such as grooming and boarding. A broad range of medical services are available including digital radiology, echocardiography, ultrasound, reproductive services, OFA X-rays, and cryosurgery. The practice also supports full diagnostics, in-house pharmacy, internal medicine, pain management, and routine as well as advanced surgical procedures. The culture is warm, welcoming, and focused on continuous learning and team collaboration.

Team
The hospital maintains a strong support structure, with one technician or veterinary assistant assigned per doctor for appointments and two treatment technicians. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
