An AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in West Linn, Oregon is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its close-knit team. Currently a single-doctor practice, this is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who values autonomy, consistency, and meaningful client relationships while still benefiting from the resources and support of a larger network. Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with a set weekly schedule designed to promote work-life balance. The hospital operates with 8:00 am to 6:00 pm shifts, including a dedicated one-hour lunch break. The structured schedule provides predictability and allows you to focus on delivering quality medicine without unnecessary disruption.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive general practice care for canine and feline patients. Responsibilities include performing thorough physical examinations, developing diagnostic and treatment plans, conducting routine surgical and dental procedures, and delivering preventive care tailored to each patient’s needs. You will build long-term relationships with clients through clear communication, education, and compassionate service. As a key clinical presence in a smaller team, you will help shape hospital standards, contribute to case discussions, and support a collaborative, respectful workplace culture. For veterinarians with leadership aspirations, there is scope to take on increasing responsibility over time and contribute to the strategic direction of the hospital.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
